Ingrid Hallquist

Ingrid is a friendly, cheerful teacher from Norway. After having a wonderful experience on her first visit to Japan, she decided to return. From September 2026 to around July 2027, she will be living in Fukuoka and teaching English at our school.

As a Norwegian who learned English as a foreign language herself, she understands what learners find challenging. She believes teaching Japanese learners requires a different approach than teaching Norwegian learners, and she strongly wanted to teach English in Japan to learn more.

In Norway, she taught English, Norwegian, and social sciences. She has experience with students across a wide range of ages, from preschool through high school.
